Introduction

Grass pollen extract refers to compounds found in the pollen made by grass. It can be taken as pill or liquid extract. Grass pollen extract has been used to ease allergy symptoms and to improve prostate health.

Dosages

100 milligrams 1 to 2 times daily

Safety Notes

It is likely safe to take grass pollen extract in small doses for a short time, but rash and throat irritation may happen. Not enough studies have been done to say whether it is safe to use for a long period. It is also not known whether it is safe to take by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Interactions

Talk to your doctor about any supplements or therapy you would like to use. Some can interfere with treatment or make conditions worse.
