Reducing Your Risk of Infertility in Women
by Cynthia M. Johnson, MA
Infertility cannot always be prevented, but there are ways to lower the risk.
Preserve Fertility Before Certain Cancer Treatments
Some cancer treatments can impact fertility. Immature eggs and embryos may be collected before treatment and stored for future use.
Have Regular Health Exams and Tests
Regular physical exams, pelvic exams, and Pap smears can find and treat problems early before they affect fertility.
