Introduction

Molybdenum is a mineral found in beans, grains, and dairy. It has been used to aid sleep, promote general well-being, and to improve athletic performance. Molybdenum is often only recommended for those who do not get enough from their diet. It can be taken as a pill.

Dosages

There are no advised doses for molybdenum. Adults should not take more than 2 mg per day.A1

Safety Notes

It is likely safe to take molybdenum in small doses. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not exceed 2 mg per day if 19 years or older (1.7 mg/day if 18 or younger).A1
